As part of God’s family, caring for each other is vitally important and a real privilege.
We believe in the importance of pastoral care and support across the fellowship. In John13:34 – 35 Jesus reminds us that we’ll be recognised as His disciple by the quality of our love for one another. Pastoral care and discipleship are linked together thus every believer has a role to play in the care of others. This may be through focussed help when a crisis arises but also through ongoing expressions of care, support and love demonstrated through the web of friendships and relationships within the church family.
The Pastoral Team works to ensure practical and spiritual help is available when required. Each person on the team is committed to the care of a small group of people, through prayer, visits, phone calls, notes of encouragement and by responding to circumstances as they arise. The team is led by David Pearson and Beryl Woods, our Pastoral Team Co-ordinators. They help us respond to practical needs and requests as well as the prayer needs of individuals.
There is a prayer chain so that prayer needs can be shared and communicated easily.
Please use the contact form to share prayer needs or contact one of the deacons.
